Dr. Milan Stehlik has obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Statistics from the Comenius University, Slovakia and holds habilitation in from Johannes Kepler University, Austria. Currently he is Full Professors at University of Valparaiso, Chile and Assoc. Professor at Johannes Kepler University, Austria. He has published more than 140 scientific publications. He gave more than 150 scientific talks. He is member of ISI, Institute Of Mathematical Statistics and Invited member of Gwalior Academy of Mathematical sciences. He has recognized contributions in the experimental design, extremes, exact testing, life data modeling, medical and ecological statistics and reliability theory.

Prof. Ling Wang is a Full Professor of Tsinghua University, China. Prof. Wang has a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Automation from Tsinghua University. He has authored 5 books and published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers in Optimization and Control research fields. Prof. Wang won the National Natural Science Award and was a recipient of National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. He is the associate editor of Swarm and Evolutionary Computation (Elsevier) and Int. J of Applied and Computational Mathematics (Springer) and in Editorial Board of several renowned journals.

Dr. Akdeniz received his Ph.D. degree in mathematical statistics from Ankara University in 1971. He taught at Ankara University (1967-1982) as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor and at Çukurova University (1982-2012) as Full Professor. Dr. Akdeniz retired in 2012. Currently he is chair (2013-) of Mathematics and Computer Sciences Department at Çağ University, Turkey.

Professor Akdeniz is second elected member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) (1993- ) in Turkey. He is one of the founding members of the Turkish Statistics Society in 1991. He has over 75 international scientific publications in different refereed journals, and 13 books. He has guided 15 Ph.D. students. His major research interests are on linear models, partially linear models, generalized maximum entropy estimators, Liu-type estimators, Ridge regression estimators.

Prof. Emad-Eldin A. A. Aly obtained his Ph.D. degree (1981) from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. Prior to that, he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (1972 and1975) from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and he again completed M.Sc. (1978) from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. He is currently Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Faculty of Science, at Kuwait University, Safat, Kuwait. His research interests include Change Point Analysis, Nonparametric Methods, and Integer-Valued Time Series. He, as an author/co-author, has published over 45 articles in various journals, having total number of citations of more than 495.

Dr. Amjad D. Al-Nasser is currently a professor at the Department of Statistics, Yarmouk University, Jordan and Director of QAIEC, Al Falah University, Dubai. He received his PhD degree in applied sciences from the National University of Malaysia in 2001. He has around 99 internationally recognized publications to his credit.

Dr. Karim Benhanni is the professor of Statistics in Université Grenoble Alpes since 1992. He is expert in research related to Mathematical Statistics, Inference and Sampling for Stochastic Processes, Non-Parametric and Functional Statistics. He has authored/ co-authored 31 documents. He completed his Ph.D. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989. He has also qualified for the lead research from Université Pierre Mendes-France in 2002.

Dr. Dumitru Baleanu obtained his Ph.D. degree (1996) in Physics from Institute of Atomic Physics, Romania. Dr. Baleanu currently holds the following two key positions: (1) Scientific Researcher I (Professor), Institute of Space Sciences, Magurele-Bucharest, Romania (since 2006); and (2) Visiting faculty, Dept. of Mathematics, Cankaya University, Ankara, Turkey (since 2000). His main research interests include the following: fractional dynamics and its applications; fractional differential equations; discrete mathematics; mathematical physics; dynamic systems on time scales; the wavelet method and its applications; quantization of systems with constraints; the Hamilton-Jacobi formalism; geometries admitting generic and non-generic symmetries. He has published more than 750 articles in various journals, having a very noteworthy number of total citations, i.e. over 9,845.

Dr. Salim Bouzebda obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics Sciences (Speciality in Statistics and Applied Probability) from University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris 6), Paris, France, in 2007. Dr. Bouzebda is currently Full Professor and Assistant Director of the laboratory (Département Génie Informatique, Centre de Recherches de Royallieu) at University of Technology of Compiègne, Compiègne, France. His main research areas include Multivariate analysis, nonparametric statistics, extreme-value theory, Copula and empirical processes, local U-empirical processes, Strong and weak invariance principle, φ-divergence and M-estimator in the semiparametric framework, Probability theory and statistics, and High dimensional statistics. Dr. Bouzebda, as an author/co-author, has published over 55 manuscripts in various journals of international repute.

Professor Leopoldo Eduardo Cárdenas Barrón is currently a Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the School of Engineering and Sciences in the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, México. He was the Associate Director of the Industrial and Systems Engineering program from 1999 to 2005. Moreover, he was also the Associate Director of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering from 2005 to 2009. His research areas include primarily related to inventory planning and control, logistics, and supply chain. He has published papers and technical notes in several journals.

Dr. Stefanka Chukova obtained her BSc Mathematics from University of Sofia, Bulgaria and MSc Mathematics (Probability and Statistics) from University of Sofia (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science), Bulgaria, in 1978. She also received her Ph.D. Mathematics (Probability and Statistics) from University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1988. Currently, she is visiting scholar in the University of Waterloo, University of Michigan and NPS, Monterey. Since 2006, Dr. Chukova is also Reader in Operations Research (School of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research), Victoria University of Wellington. She has around 131 publications to her credit.

Marco Costa is an Assistant Professor at the Águeda School of Technology and Management (ESTGA), University of Aveiro and a researcher in the Probability and Statistics research group at the Center for Research & Development in Mathematics and Applications (CIDMA). He principal research interest are: Applied Statistics, Kalman filter, Time series analysis, state space model, environmental data, regression models.

Dr. Bijan Davvaz, currently working as a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Yazd University, Iran. He completed his PhD studies in mathematics at Tarbiat Modarres University under the supervision of Professor M.R. Darafsheh in 1997. He has almost 570 publications and has been on the board of many journals. He is mainly interested in group theory, ring theory, module theory and their applications, algebraic hyperstructure theory, fuzzy sets, fuzzy logic, rough sets, probability theory and combinatorics.

Muhammad El-Taha received his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Operations Research from North Carolina State University. Currently Dr. El-Taha is Professor at University of Southern Maine where he teaches courses in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Business Analytics. He also serves as coordinator of the graduate program in Statistics. Professor El-Taha’s scientific articles has appeared in top tier journals like Queuing systems, Management Science and Journal of Rheumatology to mention a few. He is coauthor of the award winning book on sample path analysis of queueing systems. He serves on the editorial board of several scientific journals.

Dr. Giovanni Falsone, currently working as a Full Professor of Structural Mechanics (SSD ICAR/08), University of Messina since 2003. He also worked as a Researcher of Structural Mechanics, University of Catania. He has completed his PhD in Structural Engineering, University of Napoli in 1992. She did MSc degree in Economics and Finance (cum laude) from University of Lecce, Italy in 1996 and PhD degree in Statistics from University of Lecce in 2002. Dr. Harish Garg (March, 1986) (March, 1986) received an MSc in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punajb, India, in 2008 and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics with speciality in reliability theory and soft computing techniques from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, in 2013. Since 2012, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biostatistics, Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India.

Dr. Mir Sajjad Hashemi obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 2013) in Applied Mathematics from Imam Khomeini International University, Qazvin, Iran. Dr. Hashemi is currently an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics, in the Department of Mathematics (Basic Science Faculty), at University of Bonab, Bonab, Iran. His research focus is mainly towards the fields of conservation laws, fractional differential equations, lie theory, symmetry analysis, etc. Dr. Hashemi, as an author/co-author, has published more than 45 articles in various journals, having over 490 total citations.

Amin Jajarmi received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, in 2005, 2007, and 2012, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Bojnord, Iran. His research interests include the computational methods of optimal control for nonlinear and fractional-order systems, fractional differential equations, and fractional modelling with real-world applications.

Dr. Yohei Kawasaki received his BS degree in mathematics in 2005, the MS and PhD Degrees in mathematical science from Tokyo University of Science, Japan in 2007 and 2012, respectively. He joined the Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation, the National Center for Global Health and Medicine and the Tokyo University of Science during the period of 2005 to 2014. Dr. M.G.M. Khan is an Associate Professor and Head of School of Computing, Information and Mathematical Sciences at the University of South Pacific, Suva, Fiji.

His research areas are in the field of Mathematical Programming and its Applications, Sampling Theory, Optimization, Clustering, Forecasting, Statistical Modelling, Environmental Science and Data Science. He has published 85 refereed papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He has successfully supervised several PhD/MSc Theses. He is a co-developer of ‘stratifyR’, an R package. Dr. Lev Klyatis is a Senior Adviser at SoHaR, Incorporated. He holds three doctoral degrees: Engineering Technology, Ph.D.; Engineering Technology, Sc.D., (a high-level East European doctoral degree); and Engineering, Habilitated Dr.-Ing. (a high-level West European doctoral degree). His major scientific/technical expertise has been in the development of a new directions for the successful prediction of product performance, including reliability during service life (or other specified time); and, accelerated reliability and durability testing with accurate physical simulation of field conditions. Dr. Klyatis is the author of over 250 publications, including twelve books, and holds more than 30 patents worldwide.

Dr. Tomasz J. Kozubowski received his Ph.D. degree in Statistics and Applied Probability from University of California, Santa Barbara, USA. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Nevada, Reno, USA. Dr. Kozubowski’s research interests include distribution theory, Laplace distribution and its generalizations, limit theory for random sums, heavy tailed distributions, extremes, mathematical statistics, financial and insurance mathematics, stochastic models for hydro-climatic phenomena, and fractal scaling processes. He has authored/co-authored two monographs and over 90 research papers. With the 2016 Sentinel of Science Award, he was recognized by Publons as one of the top researchers contributing to the peer review in the field of mathematics.

Piotr Kulczycki currently holds the professor positions at the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he is the head of the Centre of Information Technology for Data Analysis Methods, as well as the AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, where he is the head of the Division for Information Technology and Systems Research. The field of his scientific activity is the applicational aspects of information technology and data analysis, mostly connected with the use of modern statistical methods and fuzzy logic in diverse issues of contemporary systems research and control engineering.

Prof. Kin Keung Lai, Ph.D., is a Chair Professor of Management Science at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He is a certified senior enterprise risk manager and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and the Asia Pacific Association of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems. He provides consulting in supply chain and logistics management, operations analysis and management, business problem solving and marketing analysis, and financial management and engineering. He is currently president of the Asia Association of Risk and Crisis Management and the International Association on Financial and Risk Management. He is the author of more than 40 books and 700 publications.

Dr. Lien obtained Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Sun Yat-Sen University. In 2006, he had been a Full Professor of Department of Marine Engineering, National Kaohsiung Marine University, Taiwan. Rachid Masrour, from Morocco, actually, is a research professor at the National School of Applied Sciences at the University of Cadi Ayyad, Safi, Morocco where he has been a faculty member since April 2011. Dr. Rachid Masrour completed his Ph.D. in March 2006 at the University of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. Rasoul Mirabbasi is an Associate Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering at Shahrekord University, Iran. He is also Head of the Water Resources Center of Shahrekord University. His research focuses mainly on Statistical and Environmental Hydrology and Climate Change. In particular, he is working on Modeling Natural Hazards including Flood, Drought, Wind, and Pollution toward a sustainable environment. Dr. Manuel Muñoz Márquez got the grade in mathematics at the University of Seville where he began working in the Statistics and Operations Research department in 1991. In 1995, he presented his doctoral thesis at that university and moved to the University of Cádiz. From 1995 is a permanent professor at University of Cádiz. In this university he leads a research group for more than 20 years. He has published more than 10 articles in international journals and has been responsible for more than 10 research projects and contracts with companies.

Dr. José Antonio Roldán-Nofuentes is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics in the School of Medicine and School of Health Sciences, University of Granada (Spain). His specialty is “Statistical Methods for Medical Diagnosis” (a field in which he has published several articles). He has around 24 publications to his credit.

Dr. Pelumi E. Oguntunde is a young Nigerian with passion for teaching and research. He bagged his Ph.D in Industrial Mathematics (Statistics Option) at Covenant University, Nigeria. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Statistics from the University of Ibadan and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Statistics from University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Dr. Robert A. Oster obtained his B.S. (Mathematics, 1984) from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH and M.S. (Statistics, 1986) from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. Later, he received his Ph.D. (Biostatistics, 1995) from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Preventive Medicine, University of Alabama at Birmingham. His research interests include categorical data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, clinical trial methodology, modern statistical computing methods, and statistics education to non-statisticians.

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Pilz, currently working as a Professor and Chair of Applied Statistics at Alpen-Adria University (AAU), Austria. He completed his PhD in Mathematical Statistics at Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg (TU BAF, Germany). He also served as Guest Professorships at Purdue University (West Lafayette, USA). He has more than 60 publications in different SCI Journals. Tuan Phung-Duc is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Engineering, Information and Systems, University of Tsukuba. He received a Ph.D. in Informatics from Kyoto University in 2011. He is currently in the Editorial Board of the KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems and other four international journals and is a Guest Editor of two volumes of Annals of Operations Research. Dr. Phung-Duc received the Research Encourage Award from The Operations Research Society of Japan in 2013. Dr. Gengsheng (Jeff) Qin obtained his doctorate (Ph.D.) in Statistics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong. Currently Dr. Qin is a full Professor in Mathematics and Statistics at Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. His primary research interests lie broadly in biostatistics and mathematical statistics. He has published more than sixty peer-reviewed journal articles.

Dr. Mustapha Rachdi is a Full Professor of Statistics and Applied Mathematics at University Grenoble Alpes (France). He is the dean of the Faculty of Human & Social Sciences (UFR SHS). Dr. Mustapha Rachdi received his master’s level training in Probability, Statistics and Computer Sciences and his PhD Thesis was in Mathematical Statistics (University of Rouen). In addition to his scientific research and PhD students advising activities, he teaches quantitative methods to graduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Mustapha Rachdi’s professional interests are in the area of High Dimensional Statistics, mainly in Functional Data Analysis and Non parametric Statistics.

Dr. Mohamed Sallak is an Associate Professor at the Compiègne University of Technology. He completed his Bachelors in 2003 and Masters in 2004. He further obtained PhD in 2007 from the Institute of National Polytechnique de Lorraine. His research areas are RAMS analysis of complex systems using uncertainty theories, RAMS analysis of railway systems and railway safety standards, Dependability issues in European Rail Traffic Management System, Graphical models for risk assessment and Reliability allocation problems. Dr. Mohamed Seddeek, Professor of Mathematics at Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt is presently a Professor and Director of Scientific Unit (PYP) at Qassim University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has published many research papers in the field of Heat and Mass Transfer in international journals of high repute and has supervised seven Ph.D. scholars. He is the Editor and Editor-in-chief of many international journals. He was awarded with the Reese Research Prize, Otto Flachsbart Medal, Alan Davenport Medal and Jack Cermak Medal. He was President of the International Association for Wind Engineering and Italian Association for Wind Engineering and Co-Editor of Wind & Structures.

He is member of the Liguria Academy of Science and Letters, Fellow of the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, author of over 100 papers in peer-reviewed international journals.

Dr. Izuru Takewaki is currently working as the Field Chief Editor of Frontiers in Built Environment since 2015 and also as the Professor in Kyoto University since 2003. He has contributed his services to Frontiers in Built Environment as Specialty Chief Editor in the section of Earthquake Engineering. He was the Vice-President of Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) during 2013-2015. He has also served as Chairman of research committee from 2014 to 2015 in AIJ. He was a Visiting Researcher at University of California, Berkeley in 1989-1990. He completed his Doctorate in Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan in 1991. Dr. Mike G. Tsionas is presently an Associate Professor (Department of Economics) in Athens University of Economics and Business. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Athens University of Economics and Business specialization in Economic Analysis (1988). His Master of Arts was also from Athens University of Economics and Business, specialization in Economic Statistics and Econometrics (1990). Dr. Gangwei Wang has obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from the Beijing Institute of Technology. Visited at University of British Columbia and University of Texas at Pan American. Currently, he is Assistant Professor at Hebei University of Economics and Business. His research interests involve the applications of Lie groups to differential equations and applied statistics.

Dr. Xing Zheng Wu is currently working as an associate professor in the civil engineering department of Hebei University in Baoding, China. His research interests focus on statistical analysis and modelling of geotechnical and coastal data, copula-based multivariate frequency analysis, stochastic differential equation, uncertainty quantification and reliability analysis of earth systems engineering. Dr. Wu has published more than 20 journal papers by the first author in international journals. He has served as an active reviewer for various journals and is a member of the editorial board of several journals.

Dr. Yichuan Zhao is a Professor of Statistics, Georgia State University, Atlanta. He has a joint appointment as Associate Member of the Neuroscience Institute and he is also an affiliated faculty member of School of Public Health in Georgia State University. Dr. Zhao has a B.S. and an M.S. in Mathematics from Peking University, and also an M.S. in Stochastics and Operations Research from Utrecht University. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics at Florida State University. He has published 70 research articles in Statistics and Biostatistics research fields. Dr. Zhao has initiated Workshop Series on Biostatistics and Bioinformatics since 2012. He organized the 25th ICSA Applied Statistics Symposium in Atlanta as a chairman of organizing committee and program committee with a great success. Dr. Zhao was an elected member of the International Statistical Institute.

Dr. Chen is currently a Professor at the Department of Biostatistics, University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. He has completed his Ph.D. in 1990 from the University of Rochester in Statistics. He research interest include Robust inference, multivariate analysis, survival analysis, sequential analysis, regression methods, clinical trials, data management. He has received First Prize in Mathematics Competition from the Shanghai U. of Technology and also been awarded membership in ASA by Div. of Biostatistics, Unoversity of Rochester. Dr. Ao Yuan received Ph.D. in statistics from University of British Columbia, 1997. He worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as a biostatistics research fellow (1997-1999), at Howard University National Human Genome Center as a research biostatistician (1999-2013), visited Georgetown University (2013) and Joined Georgetown in 2014. Norazian Mohamed Noor (PhD) is a senior lecturer at School of Environmental Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis. She had more than 15 years experiences on teaching and learning and had taught more than 10 engineerings subjects including material balances for chemical engineers, statistics for engineers and fundamental of environmental engineering. She had more than 25 publications indexed with h-index of 7. She also had received more than USD 53,000 funding from local government and had more than 20 undergraduates and postgraduates students.

Dr. Célia Nunes is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Beira Interior (UBI) and member of Center of Mathematics and Applications (CMA), UBI, Portugal. Dr. Fengqing Zhang did PhD in Statistics from Northwestern University (NU), Evanston, IL, USA in 2014.
